Tens and face cards are worth 0, Aces are worth 1, and all other cards are worth their face value. What's more, only the final digit in a total value counts, so if one hand consists of a 5 and a 7, the total value of the hand is not 12, but 2 instead. It may seem a little tricky at first, but the more you play the more experienced you'll become, and the better feel you'll get for the game itself.
